Got as angry as I've ever been in a while today. Booked a cab for noon, tournament starting at 1230. Waited 10min, no show. Spent the next 15 mins finding a cab. Finally get one at like 1227 and obv he speaks bad fucking English so he takes the wrong way, taking an extra ~10min or so.

Ended up getting to the tourney 4 hands late after sprinting through the casino. Busted on the exact bubble, shipped 10bb w/ 95o bvb. Guy tank called a4s and I didn't win the 40/60. He mentioned how it'd be a close spot earlier whether or not to call 15bb resteal with ajo so I like my play with atc (and 9 high is even better!) Gonna have some food then late reg for the 550 turbo cubed.

For once I can post the entire HHs of a live tournament I played! This was the 550$ Hall of Fame Special.

10k start bank, blinds started at 50/100, 30 min levels.

Soft table, reg opens 300 at 50/100, I flat 87s on the effective BU, SB calls, I fold to PFRs cbet on K6s2. Kinda a close spot, decided not to float or raise here but I do have one of the better hands to do it with.

100/200: folds to me on the effective button, I open 86s to 500, big blind has 3700. Close, but big blind is a middle aged player so I don't feel he shoves as wide as he should. He folds I take down pot.

100/200: UTG+1 limps, I limp behind on MP3 with K8s. UTG+1 is a weaker player, I decide not to iso because BU is the middle aged player behind with a fairly short stack. I think I'd still iso from the button. Flop comes 543r, no spades and I fold to a minbet 5-ways.

100/200: reg opens UTG to 525 (10k effective stacks) I call UTG+1 with AKhh. I think this is super standard on a soft table against a reg, bonus is middle aged guy still has 3.7k so he can jam it in with a lot of worse hands. I think calling here gives me significantly more EV than 3betting, even though I will see lots of players blindly 3bet here. If you're one of them: you suck. ANYWAY, BB calls and flop comes K87hh, lol live poker is easy. Both check to me, I bet 2/3 pot, BB folds and PFR calls. Turn comes offsuit 5, he check/calls my 2100 bet into 3475. River comes offsuit 7, he check/calls my 6100 shove with what he told me was 9h9s. Apparently my reputation precedes me grin

100/200/25: I iso middle aged woman's limp to 600 with AQs on CO, rest fold. Flop comes 8s54, she checks I check behind. Kinda close here, if she's never bluffing the turn I should just protect my hand rather than giving her a free x outs. Turn comes the 5s and she leads for 2000 (like 3200 behind). She's been super passive up till now and even though I have the nfd I don't think stationing this bet (or shoving over it) is ever a good idea esp when she sometimes has me drawing to 9, 8 or even 0 outs (passive players will bet big with big hands that don't need protection sometimes too), so I just fold like a nit.

150/300/25: Middle aged player UTG+1 raises to 750, UTG+2 calls, I squeeze to 2450 on the button with KK, 16k effective stacks. UTG+1 calls and UTG+2 tankfolds. Flop comes 844dd, he checks I cbet 2300 he check/ships I snapcall. He has 77, board runs out Q7 and I'm down to 3700 chips. I say after the hand "even I thought I had AK!" grin

150/300/25: I shove 12bb UTG with AQo, 77 guy from above calls me with AK (grr) board runs out JT4TJ (yay!) We chop. I said "you gotta get lucky in tournaments!" haha

150/300/25: same guy as above limps UTG+2, I shove 77 from BB with 13bb, he calls 66, window card was a 6 and he holds.

Despite winning the 550$ tournament for 16575$ I'm still down on the package for the trip. Apologies for this, even though I obviously ran good in the one tournament to win it, I obviously ran under expected just from having blanked the bigger tournaments that I played.

To calculate how much each person gets back, we first change the price of each percentage. Original cost of the package was 28340$US. The tournaments I missed were the 1100$ shootout, the 550$ NLH and the 1100$ 8game mix. This changes the price of the package to 2750$AU lower, or 3403.28$US after the markup.

Total cashes were 16575$AU or 17090.48$US.

Thus:

0.1% gets back: 3.40+17.09 = 20.49$US
0.2%: 40.99
0.5%: 102.47
1%: 204.9
2%: 409.9
5%: 1024.7
10%: 2049

If you wish to check these numbers keep in mind that the exchange rates I used are the same as the rates I used when I sold the action.

will crosspost this in my original staking thread too.

Down to 1800 I double up twice and now I'm back to 5100 from 10k starting
