If you're sick of football and rugby dominating the sports threads is there anyone that surfs, skates etc?

I used to skate street before growing older and fatter now I snowboard. I'm still a skater at heart and miss the days of cruising hills, skinning shins and falling down stairwells...my top 3 street skaters:

1 Chris Haslam.

2 Tom Penny.

3 Gino Iannucci.

I used to surf Croyde (North Devon) growing up, you get the odd decent swell during winter, but noting like you Safa's are used to.

You had any trips lately? best spot?

My last trip (overseas) was to the North Shore, Hawaii. 9years back, was 15years old then.
Croyde looks pretty narly!!!
We have plenty of waves this side, West Coast, South Africa.
Favourite spots are Victoria Bay, Jeffreys Bay and Elands Bay all in my country shark biggrin and of course local is lekka.. West Coast!

Would kill to visit the North Shore! Some great spots around here southern Spain and especially Portugal. Hoping to go to Co Clare Ireland next year, some gnarly breaks and hidden spots.

Hey z1pz0r, hows it going? Zarautz looks a cool spot, further proof that a road trip to San Sebastian/Bilbao is definitely the plan for next year.
