Dominated
In games with community cards, a hand is dominated by an opposing hand if it is not a pair and the highest cards are the same but the opposing hand has a higher kicker. The effect is that for any pair made with the highest card, the opposing player will always win because of his superior kicker.
Example (Texas Hold'em):
| Player | Flop |
Player B's hand is dominated by A's. B cannot win by getting another ace since this would give A a better pair.
