MTT

MTT is the abbreviation for multi-table tournament, which begins on many tables at once. As players are eliminated, tables are consolidated until just one table is left upon which the tournament is played to its logical conclusion.

The number of participants can be a few dozen to thousands. The counterpart to the MTT is the STT, or single table tournament played on just one table.
