Interview With PokerStrategy.com TV World Championship Finalist znah

We catch up with the first player to make the final table of the PokerStrategy.com TV World Championship, heat 1 winner znah.

znah wins Heat 1
PokerStrategy.com: How did it feel to win the heat?

znah: During the game I didn’t think too much about winning. I played for fun. It was my first live game experience.

Only when the last hand had been played, and I’d seen the showdown, I realised I won the heat. But there was no big excitement about it. I was just glad about going to London once again.

PokerStrategy.com: What was the experience of playing in a TV studio like?

znah: For me it was pleasant to play in the TV studio. I didn’t feel too much pressure, although it was a little hot indoors.

It was interesting to see how professional TV staff works.

"I think my opponents don't have a chance; I will win this tournament"

PokerStrategy.com: Did you enjoy coming to London and the Poker Heaven hospitality?

znah: London is a very beautiful city. It’s great that I have one more possibility to experience the atmosphere.

As for the Poker Heaven hospitality, I have only positive impressions. Their managers are excellent and friendly. They were together with us on all the parties, we spent some good time.

PokerStrategy.com: Have you checked out the live ticker to see what your final table opponents will be like?

znah: I certainly watched live updates and saw the hands my opponents played. It was not possible to gather enough information, but I could make some general conclusions.

PokerStrategy.com: Will your strategy be different because it’s a different format than the first heat?

znah: Certainly the money factor will put pressure on my decision-making, but I will try to relax and show my best poker as much as possible. 8-max is more preferable for me than 6-max.

PokerStrategy.com: Do you think you have a good chance at winning?

znah: I think my opponents don't have a chance; I will win this tournament.
