It is with great pleasure that today the newest project can be presented to you: Team PokerStrategy.com. The current team consists of four players and a team manager.
What is Team PokerStrategy.com?

| Team PokerStrategy.com! |
It is a project that seeks to give the skilled and talented members a shot at the big money. It is no secret to anyone that there is a lot of talent in our communities. With this team we are going to provide the talented members of the PokerStrategy.com communities with an opportunity to make it big as a star.
Therefore only the very best of all members of PokerStrategy.com will be recruited into the team. The goal is simple: Take down as many live tournaments as possible. This basically means that every member of Team PokerStrategy.com will play all the big live tournaments in the European Poker Tour, the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour in Europe, while having their buy-in paid for!
Who is in the team?
At the moment there are four players in Team PokerStrategy.com. Each of them was picked because of their good performance as a poker player. The members that get the honours of being the first are: Nazgul, Trader, Pokernoob and Allanon85. These are all known names in the community and there is no doubt that they are capable of making Team PokerStrategy.com a big success.
You can also be a part of Team PokerStrategy.com in the future. The
utmost important criteria to join are your skills. Every member from each
community is eligible to join the ranks of Team PokerStrategy.com. More
information will follow after the World Series of Poker.
Meet the players!

What can we expect from Team PokerStrategy.com?
A lot! On the short term we can be very specific: the team will venture to the United States of America to play at the most prestigious live tournament series in the world, the World Series of Poker.
The four members will compete in many tournaments hunting for their first bracelet. Of course they will blog about their success and even better, provide your communitywith educational videos of their highest limits! For the future, the team will also compete in tournaments in Europe such as the European Poker Tour.
You can read more about Team PokerStrategy.com tomorrow in the interview with the team manager RobbieV and in the interviews with each player that will follow the days after.
If you want to read more about it now you can already view the blogs of each player and congratulate them on joining the team.

Very very nice idea. A question to satisfy my curiosity: Do they "get" the buy-in or is it a staking deal, getting half of possible winnings back to PS?#11

@10: It's a staking deal :)We expect to run break-even with the tourneys - and get a lot of nice videos + the blogs & stories as a profit for the community on top :)

lol what a suprise all 4 german.........so much for an international site#21
EagleStar88, 22 May 09 23:34
@20, to be fair, thats where it all started, they have a much bigger community at the moment to pick from and have great strength in depth as witnessed in the international league/pokerstars major cashes etc. They're still PokerStrategists like everyone in the English community and have got our full support. Go guys :)#22
Xantos, 23 May 09 02:59
Options to apply will be publicly announced after the WSOP - and also depend on the performance there ;)@20: Decisions were made for known skill - because it is a big risk investment (hundreds of thousands of US-Dollars).
RobbieV, the team leader, is one of our Dutch community managers with little no no contact to the German community. He based his decision on performance & the incomplete information available and not nationality.
