League of Champions: Introducing The Community Champions

With the next phase of the PokerStrategy.com League of Champions set to kick off soon, we are proud to introduce to you the players who will be representing their respective communities.

35 players will take part in the PokerStrategy.com League of Champions which features a price pool worth $43.000.

Of the 35, 14 players were voted in by their respective communnities as their commmunity champions and TwiceT was the player chosen to represent the English Community. The other 20 players qualified through the various qualifiers such as freerolls and buy-in tournaments.

Three players for the English Community

Russian Community members and players from Ukraine are the ones who make up the bulk of the players in the League of Champions with a total of 12 representatives. 10 of them qualified via the qualification tournaments while the other two were voted in. The German Community is the next strongest with 6 representatives, including one player from Switzerland.

For the English Community, 2 other players NutsBuster and pokericek qualified from the qualification freerolls and will be joining TwiceT as the 3 champions who will represent you.

The champions come from diverse poker backgrounds with players from every rank being represented among our final pool of players. Most of the champions consist of Bronze and Silver members while our coaches and staff members are also well represented. 3 Black Members TwiceT, Tonding and kobeyard will be taking part in the League of Champions.

League phase starts on September 15

With the selection and qualification of our community champions nowconcluded, the League of Champions will be proceeding into the league phase soon. Starting with the first tournament on September 15 to October 24, 18 tournaments will be conducted to determine which five champions move on to the playoff phase.

The champions will have to earn points by playing in these tournaments and at the end of it all, the five champions with the highest points total will move on. In the last 3 league tournaments, $2,000 will also be added to the prize pool to spice up the competition.
