Media Maniacs Dominate Round One!

The first round of the Battle of the Donkeys pretty much started off where the last one left off. TheDahl who held the record for best placement in round 1, was the last to bust.



The first round of the Battle of the Donkeys started off with a solid performance by our in-house paparazzi - the Media Maniacs. Following an intense showdown between their last remaining player, fostie, and the last member of Team SoyCD, Hlynkinn, - they managed to hold on for the victory in terms of best average finish and most money won giving them 2 gold medals and thus 2 points in the rankings.

Team SoyCD also manages to hold on for a gold medal and a point by having the member with the best finish. The standings at the end of week one have the Media Maniacs in a comfortable lead with 2 gold and 1 silver medal, while Team SoyCD is hanging on to second place.

As announced in the restructuring news, there is now an additional prize pool which will be distributed among the top players of the BOD. As soon as the extra-pot reaches $490, we will give out 1 ticket to the Sunday Million and 5 Buy-ins to the Daily Eighty Grand ($50+5) among those players who are currently the best ranked players of their respective teams. The impressive performances by all teams has already allowed the pot to grow by $50 in this first week, putting us on the track to crack the desired total in just a few weeks.
Next week's teams
Under the new structure, all players that manage to cash in a ranked team automatically have the right to stay in it for that team for the next week.
