PokerStrategy.com TV Championship Countdown: Meet TwiceT, Pinduch & martin77BG

We are just days away from the PokerStrategy.com TV World Championship and today we are profiling three of the players who won their tickets to this event.

martin77bg is already  a TV champion

martin77BG - The TV Champion

Martin Dimitrov is a photographer from Bulgaria, who has been playing small stakes SNGs for a year and a half. He won his place in the TV Championship after winning one of our regional freerolls.

Despite being a relatively new player, martin77BG could be a real dark horse to win the TV Championship, because he has a unique edge.

That is because he won the Central & East European leg of poker show 'Face The Pro'. As a result, he got to play Gus Hansen heads-up on TV.

He didn't win that final match, but the experience will no doubt prepare him mentally for this event.

"I was already successful in one TV show and wanted to feel once more the thrill and emotion I had in Budapest"

PINDUCH - First Live Game

Pinduch is playing his first live game ever

Our next players is a 33 shop manager from Poland. Pinduch has been playing online for about three years and won his seat in a regional freeroll.

Pinduch is certainly going to be feeling the pressure when he takes his seat in London this month. Not only does he tell us he is camera shy, he is also going to be playing his first live game EVER.

Talk about throwing yourself in the deep end.

He remains ever modest and is looking forward to the experience more than anything, we which are sure will be unforgettable for him.

TwiceT is coming to London

TwiceT - PokerStrategy.com Legend

The TV Championship is all about the PokerStrategy.com community and if there is one player who eats, sleeps, a breathes PokerStrategy.com it is Austrian coach TwiceT.

TwiceT is a legend on the site. He is a professional cash game player, has been coaching and producing videos since 2009, and made history when he became the first Black Status Member of the English Community.

He won his seat into this event by beating 9 other PokerStrategy.com coaches in a single table tournament - which is already a strong clue he will do well in the format of the TC Championship.

You can really learn a lot from TwiceT and be thoroughly entertained along the way. We think he is the player to watch and you can learn more about him here.

What is the PokerStrategy.com TV World Championship?

This event is our first televised poker tournament, in partnership with PokerHeaven. It is going to be broadcast on the Poker Channel in early 2012.

It will feature seven heats of six players, with the winner of each heat progressing to the final in December.

Waiting at the final table will be PokerStrategy.com CEO Dominik Korn Kofert, as well as a $42,000 prize pool, which includes a $20,000 first prize.

The 42 players who have qualified all won their tickets in exclusive freerolls and rake races. Whether they win or lose in London, they will have an experience they will never forget.

They will be staying at the stylish K-West Hotel, attending exclusive parties, riding in Limousines, and much more.
