Quiz of the Week: Blind Steals in the Short Stack Strategy (NL)
One of the first things you learn on top of the standard strategy in SSS, is how to steal blinds; they are an easy and quick way to improve your winning rate - if done correctly.
|
Today,
we bring our Short Stack Strategy players a new test of wits. Have you
just finished learning this straight forward strategy and are you
looking for some further ways to refine it? Stealing blinds is one of the simplest extensions to the strategy. Expanding your BU, CO and SB ranges allows you to attack the blinds and take advantage of these blindly-posted stakes. As you implement this, you will have to adjust your re-steal calling ranges accordingly, to avoid becoming exploitable. Test your knowledge of short-stack blind stealing in our newest edition of the weekly quiz: We also provide you with a place to exchange feedback, allowing you to share your knowledge with your fellow PokerStrategy.com members, so please visit us on the boards: Enjoy the quiz! |

No, vhallee, I positively mean this exact quiz.http://www.pokerstrategy.com/quiz/weekly/896
it was posted as _bronze_, and I can still view it, so it probably still is.

Is there an archive for quizzes? I think they are very useful.#7

QUESTION:warning this question reveals answers of the quiz
In question 4 the correct default stealing range does not include the hand that is used to steal in question 5... why is question 5's hand not within the default range?

#4: just like I've explained in the forum thread, the quiz is _ALWAYS_ available to ALL members (even basic, which is below bronze) during the first week. So if you refer to the quiz itself, it has been posted as basic (neither bronze nor silver) and the rank will be adjusted accordingly next week, when the new quiz will be posted as basic.I can also assure you that in the news itself, it has never been posted as Bronze. I wrote the news myself and it has stated that the quiz is silver level from the moment I wrote it. The fact that the quiz is still available for viewing has nothing to do with this, as previously explained.
I'm sorry to say, but you are simply wrong.
I hope you now understand why you are still able to access the quiz, though.
