Collin Moshman, our newest SnG coach
PokerStrategy.com is proud to introduce you to our newest coach, Collin Moshman.

Collin is an American who grew up near Washington, D.C. and has always had a strong background in math. He has a degree in theoretical mathematics from the California Institute of Technology and soon after graduating, he turned his focus to poker.

Moshman began to play single table Sit & Go's, and he used his educational background to develop world-class strategies for them. Soon he was a big winner, playing tons of tables at a time online.

His focus is largely on thinking outside of basic strategy in a way that is mathematically sound and more profitable than traditional advice. He heavily considers game theory decision making and the implications of ICM at different stages of a tournament.

Collin's first book, "Sit 'n Go Strategy," is one of the best sources of information on how competent poker players should approach Sit & Gos. The book was published in 2007 and it is divided by stack size stages seen throughout a tournament. Anyone familiar with the PokerStrategy.com learning paths knows that this is how we believe poker is most effectively taught.

Since then, Collin has also become an expert at the theory and execution of heads-up Sit & Go play. He has written two more poker strategy books - "Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em" was released in 2008, and most recently "The Math of Hold'em" was released in June of 2011. He also runs Team Moshman, a staking/coaching operation where he manages a stable of online grinders.
