Heat 6 - Xenboy Takes It Down
In one of the tensest and cagiest heats of the series,
Xenboy of South Korea has booked his place in the final. There was nothing between any of the participants in the early stages, each man was aggressive, and no sooner would one win a pot than he would lose another.
But from this stalemate of early levels, the table seemed to naturally tighten up in the middle stages. That was when the hyper aggressive Xenboy started to pull away from the pack.
As the overall play got tighter, Xenboy got more aggressive. Despite his fast pace, Xenboy was involved in the longest three handed battle of the series, with
ziggi and
flplopes. It may have been a slower pace, but Xenboy never relinquished control, and after dispatching flplopes in 3rd place, he bust his heads-up opponent ziggi in suitably faster style, in the very next hand.
At times he struggled with language barriers, particularly when communicating with the dealers, but there was no doubt that Xenboy let his chips do the talking in heat number 6.
Heat 7 - Martin77BG Dominates

| Heat 7 Champion Martin77BG |
Most notably
Martin77BG, who had already won Face The Ace, another televised studio tournament, arguably making him the most experienced player in the pack.Joining him was
Dylboi011 of Wales, a last minute replacement who made his presence known by donning a full body penguin suit. He wore this because he lost a prop bet and it was certainly a forfeit, because he must have been boiling under the intense heat of the studio lights.Martin77BG started exactly how you would expect a TV champion to, by running over the table. The deck really hit him in the face right from the offset, as he bust his fellow Bulgarian countryman
Petrakow in the first orbit and continued to pound the rest of the table thereafter. In fact he never really looked back, busting
DuneBuggy and
Kyyberi soon after and holding more than 60% of the chips in play by the time the heat was three handed. If heat 6 had the longest three handed battle, heat 7 had the shortest, as a three way all-in ended the tournament. All the money went in the middle pre-flop and the pocket queens of Martin77BG spiked a queen on the flop against the ace-king of Pelator and the king-ten of Dylboi011.
Which was a fitting end to the heat, as Martin77BG dominated from the offset, ran like god throughout, bust every single player, and made it look very easy indeed.
