Timukasr Does It Again - Team SoyCD Victorious

Timukasr has managed to secure the position of furthest community member for the second week in a row. This means yet another two gold medals for Team SoyCD. The Mod Squad wins the third medal for best average finish.

The most solid team of the evening was, without a doubt, the Mod Squad with an impressive team average of 875. Team-leader Cannell555 was once again at the helm with an ITM finish of 378rd, but team members Frozenrope (467th) and alland (947th) performed exceptionally. This was good enough for a vital gold medal in terms of best team average finish. Yet the most medals were once again won by Team SoyCD, whose star performer, Timukasr, once again managed to be the last to bust.

With 300 people left in the tournament, the community had 3 players left in the race: plaukas, 1seednoir1 and Timukasr. After plaukas, who was playing in the community team, was sent to the rails as 246th it was down to 1seednoir1 for Team Tribun and Timukasr for Team SoyCD. Although Timukasr was in a better chip position (~50k vs ~10k) , 1seednoir1 quickly caught up through a series of double ups.

Yet, just as the railbirds were getting settled in for an exciting race - everything went awry as Timukasr needed to leave the tournament due to offline issues. With his opponent on sitout, 1seednoir1 was put to a difficult decision. Simply outlast his opponent for two medals - or play for first place? As any good tournament player would choose - he decided to keep his focus on winning it all and was not afraid to get his money in the middle. Yet a busted bluff and an expensive QQ sent him to the rails as 130th. The glory and the first place position therefore once again go to Timuksar who ended up blinding out at 115th.
