Top Threads of the Week: Dealing it Four Times in the PokerStars' Big Game

In online poker there are only a few platforms offering to run a board for two times, while in live poker it has become a habit to run it for up to 4 times in certain cases. This week Phil Hellmuth learned that this method does not always reduce the variance of a decision.

In PokerStars' new TV show called "the Big Game", Phil Hellmuth offers the amateur player to run the turn and river for four times. Hellmuth holds trips on a board, while his opponent is dealt . The board structure made Hellmuth the 85 to 15 favorite.
