Since the US elections have just finished, we now know that Barack Obama will be the next president to move into the White House. However, an important question now arises: what kind of impact will this have on online poker?

As you may already know from here, Kentucky Judge Thomas Wingate has stated that over 140 .com domains belonging to online casinos in the Kentucky area would be seized by the state, and the UIEGA has resulted in US residents being banned from many online poker rooms.

Yet this issue is still important and it reflects the fact that poker is not accepted by everyone. Now that America has a new president, things might change, but do you think it is possible for Obama to do this? Will he be for or against it, or better yet, will he have any impact at all?
