Your Suggestions for the Member of the Month August

You can now use your chance to vote for the member of the month! Nominate a member whose commitment within the community stood out last month and submit your suggestions in the forum by September 9th.

How it works

By participating in the member of the month poll, you get the chance to give a little 'thank you' to another user who has shown extraordinary commitment within the community. You can submit your suggestion by September 14th at 21:59 GMT.

In the above thread, you can nominate a member who struck you as particularly helpful during the month of August. Please consider the following requirements, which have to be met for us to accept the nomination:

Active member
The candidate must have been active since the last member of the month poll. A user is considered active if he made at least one forum post in August. For Beginners, a fully completed profile (name and address) are an additional requirement.
Current topic
The reason why you are nominating a candidate has to be relevant to the particular month.
Reason
In order for us to understand the nomination, you have to give a specific reason why this user should be nominated. You can only nominate one user per poll. If you post more than one nomination, we will only consider the last nomination you make.
Quality nominations
We take quality over quantity. Nominations that are submitted "just for fun" or to mock the user in question will be disregarded for our users' protection. Nominations for activities on another user's expense will also be disregarded.
Legitimacy
A user that has broken our T&C or forum rules since the last poll cannot be nominated. The same applies to users who have shown a very negative attitude in the past.
Self-nomination
You cannot nominate yourself.
Self-disqualification
Nominated members have the right to disqualify themselves from the poll.
PokerStrategy.com employees
Employees and freelancers working for PokerStrategy.com can only be nominated for activities outside of their work.

The poll

Our moderators will make sure that the above criteria are met. Out of all suggested members, the most frequently mentioned PokerStrategists will enter a democratic poll. We will conduct an interview with the winner, which will be published in a news article on our page.

On top of that, our member of the month receives a T-shirt of his choice (excluded are Diamond T-shirts) from our shop.
