888.com lowers requirements for VIP status

888.com Pacific Poker will start next year with a special promotion dedicated to players aiming for the VIP status. If you apply between the 1st of January and 31st of March, you can get to VIP for only 25,000 Status points, as well as other benefits like cashback or special tournaments.

In 2010, playing at 888.com Pacific Poker will give you more rewards than before. If you register for this special promotion, you will benefit from a set of rewards.

You can opt in for this promotion from the 1st of January until the 31st of March 2010 on the provided landing page. Once you have applied, you will be eligible for the VIP status if you generate 25,000 Status Points within a 4 month time frame. For example, if you apply for this promotion on the 1st of January, you will have time until the 1st of May to earn these points.

Players that reach VIP status will get more benefits. For instance, you will receive a 9% rakeback retroactive for the time you spent reaching this level. Also, once you have become VIP, you will qualify for 27% cashback.

If you manage to earn 60,000 Status Points by the end of 2010, you will also receive VIP status for the whole next calendar year (January 1 - December 31 2011). If not, your status on January 1st 2011 will be determined by the total number of points you have accumulated.
