$100,000 in Freerolls to Celebrate \"Best Poker Affiliate\" Award
The iGB Awards for the Online Gaming Industry awarded PokerStrategy.com with the "Best Poker Affiliate" trophy. In order to celebrate this accomplishment, we will hold five special freerolls in April with a prize pool of $20,000 each!
In February, we reported here that we won the "Best Poker Affiliate" award for our activity in 2009 and we have you, the community, to thank for that.
Thanks to this, we will host five freerolls in April, each with a prize pool of $20,000. To make sure that all of you can participate in at least some of these great events, we selected five different poker rooms and five different schedules for them.
Your feedback on the freeroll series would be very much appreciated. If you plan to participate, please populate the discussion threads for each of the freerolls we linked below.
Thank you for making PokerStrategy.com such a great community!

Note on the requirements:
The requirements for the registration are not meant to exclude members, but are a necessity to make sure only members of PokerStrategy.com can participate. Some poker rooms can identify all tracked members, whereas others can only restrict the tournament entry to depositors. Even though we are sure that this is a fair approach, we are sorry for any individual inconvenience caused.

Freerolls at the biggest sites a.k.a Pokerstars & FullTilt will have biggest number of players. Still it is good that not all freerolls require a deposit to be made.#6

Hey there, the choice of rooms is based on several factors:
1. PartyPoker, bet365 and Everest have been the top3 choices for new Free $50 players in 2010 so far - and we want to make sure most beginners can at least participate in one of the tournaments.
2. Poker rooms must allow us the tournament and make it technically possible to only allow players tracked to PokerStrategy.com - which is sadly not totally easy most of the time.
3. 888.com was the sponsor of the last BM party - and thanks to their Free $8 offer in February, a lot of players have an account there.
4. EuroPoker is our Ongame partner that is most interesting for experienced players & we want to encourage testing it out.
Additionally, we think that for experienced players it's an acceptable effort to create an account to play a big tournament. We agree that other poker rooms would have been more comfortable for other players - but there's always a need for compromise.

Hi folks. I don´t have accounts on any of these, but understand I can create accounts on Bet365 and Everest poker without any deposits and take part of the freerol. But I have one question---> If I create accounts on Bet365 and Everest and do not deposit any money, do I stay eligible for first in deposits against my future deposit? I.e. Can I open account now (with 0 deposit) and deposit say 1 year later and still get first in deposit bonuses (200% for Bet365 at hand)? In other words - will not creation of account now (though with 0 deposit) disqualify me from the first in deposit bonus in the future? I plan to use the benefit of these first deposit bonuses in the future, not now.
Many thanks

Hi Cornie, sorry for late reply.Unfortunalty it will disqualify you for the FDP at Everest.
To Everest:
You have to enter one of the bonus codes in the first 48 hours after registration.
You have deposit within 14 days of registration, in order for the bonus to be activated.
At Bet365 the German FAQ in the Forum says, that there is no time limit for your first deposit. You can cash in, whenever you like and then receive your FDP.

So just to make sure:If I do not have an account in Bet365 and Everest, I can still make one in each of those, do not deposit any money, but still I am allowed to participate in each freeroll?

yeah... same question.. without making any deposit if a create an account on partypoker, is it possible for me to take part in the freeroll tourney...??#18
Durda, 10 Apr 10 21:55
This is all very imprecise!I want to have same answers about future bonus possibility as guys before me but now is too late!It would be very stupid for anyone not to take bonus of few hundreds dollars because of freeroll and you simply didn't think about that...#19
matija09, 12 Apr 10 14:36
do we have to manualy register for the tournaments or are we going to be tracked and registerd automaticly (in my case everest poker)? thx#20
JohnPhoenix, 15 Apr 10 09:29
@15: yes@17: Unfortunately not. At the Partypoker Software, you can only take part in Freerolls with a Real Money Account. That means that you must have/have had money in your PartyPoker account at one point in time
@18: http://www.pokerstrategy.com/online-poker-rooms/
If you click on the download instruction for the pokerroom, at which you want to play the freeroll, you can find the informations regarding the FDP Bonus of each pokerroom.
@19: Yes, you have to register manually. Registration starts 24 Hours before at Everest and Party.
