In our top player promotions, our stars have already earned more than
$1,000,000 in 2008 alone. Every month, every PokerStrategist has the chance
to grab his share of that fortune. But of course, it is hard work to
get there.
Even though many of our Top250 started playing poker and joined PokerStrategy.com in 2008, time to learn and to gather experience
certainly helps a lot. That is the main reason why still comparably few
members of our English community at PokerStrategy.com regularly get into top positions in our monthly rankings.
2008 was nevertheless a very successful year for our community: so many
success stories of players starting with their $50, climbing up through
skill & will to limits where that $50 is just half a stack or
less. This continous success of you, our members, makes us proud and keeps us going.
In 2009, we want to make sure to improve: improve the web site, improve
videos & articles, improve our community feeling. And finally, with
your help, improve your skill and your success at poker! We are convinced that by the end of
2009 many more of our players will be considered
stars on high limits, maybe even topping the Top250.
But before we start dreaming about the future, we want to say thank you in the present. Part of that thank you is our Christmas tree, draped with $4,000 – waiting to be plucked by our top 20 English players in December!

You'll see you need much less lol;) They did that probably because so little of our comm. members get into top250

i think it will need around 20000 points to get the prize, 1000 per day (with day offs). Hard for me as micro/low limits player.#16
