Represent PokerStrategy.com in bwin's Battle of the Forums

The Battle of the Forums by bwin is a team play event which pits 5-man teams from various poker forums across the web against each other. Not only can you win a share of the $60,000 prize pool, you can also earn bragging rights for yourself and the entire PokerStrategy.com community.

If you want to be PokerStrategy.com's representative in bwin's Battle of the Forums, our $5.50 qualifier tournament has been scheduled for Sunday, December 5 at 20:00 GMT. For every 50 players in the qualifier, 5 top players will be chosen to play in the finals.

One team for every 50 qualifier participants

To ensure that we maximise PokerStrategy.com's chances of winning, we are looking for the most qualified players to become our representatives in the Battle of the Forums (BOTF). In order to prove that you have what it takes, you have to emerge among the top players in the qualifier tournament. The details for the qualifier is as follows:

• Time & Date: December 5 (Sunday), 20:00 GMT
• Registration opens: December 5, 09:00 GMT
• Buy-in: $5 + $0.50
• Password: Posted in our forum
• Tournament name: BOTF PokerStrategy
  
• BOTF Final Tickets: 5 BOTF final tickets for every 50 qualifier participants*
• Cash Prizes: All ticket winners will also be awarded a share of the prize pool collected from the $5 buy-in*

*For example: If we have 57 participants, 10 BOTF Final tickets will be awarded and the prize pool will be $285

$21,000 for the winning team

Once you have earned the right to represent your community, you can register for the BOTF final immediately with your tournament ticket. The details for the finals are as follows:

• Time & Date: December 12 (Sunday), 20:00 GMT
• Format: Five separate final tournaments will be held simultaneously, and each team member will play in one tournament.
• Scoring: The top 100 players in each final will score points, the higher your position, the higher your score. The scores for all 5 team members are totalled and the highest scoring team wins
• Prizes: The team prize is equally divided between team members.

Please note: As we are planning on providing further coverage once the teams for PokerStrategy.com are set, the winners might get published on PokerStrategy.com both with their PokerStrategy.com user name and their associated bwin nickname.
