Review 2008: TOP250 Promotions With Over One Million Dollars In Paid Out Bonus

In 2008, we've initiated numerous promotions for you. In our regular TOP250 promotion alone, by the end of 2008, we will have given away $1,140,000 in additional, exclusive bonuses to our best players.

To date, the most money has been collected by DuneBuggy. His numerous Top3 finishes alone have earned him $52,000.

Closely behind is RiF. With three first, one second, and two third place finishes, he has been able to rake in $44,000 so far.

mStar991 shouldn't remain unmentioned either. Especially early in the year, he often made the headlines with regular top finishes: In 2008, he has been the runner-up four times, and was once the second runner-up - $28,000.

Naturally, several other players beyond just these three have made it to the top and have also been able to enjoy some additional income.

Especially as the international communities have been in constant growth, they have also been developing the potential to conquer a promotion which has been dominated by the Germans up till now: Meanwhile, almost every community has at least one top player who can be found in the TOP250 list. Some of them even mix it up in the TOP10, mainly among the Russian community.
When talking about an ever-increasing and internationalized TOP250 promotion, it's always worth taking a look back: By now, it is common practice that 250 of our top players share $100,000. Just a year ago, in November of 2007, it was only $62,000 for the 50 most active players.

Obviously, the promotion has grown rapidly within a short amount of time just like our international communities. With increasing competition, however, one must expect as well that the level and the requirements for future winners will increase.
By now, over one million dollars has made it to your accounts. While DuneBuggy seems to be enjoying a break, RiF is still busy collecting points. It is even possible that he will push DuneBuggy from the top spot in terms of overall winnings in 2008. With VivaLT and Fatzge, however, he has two hard-hitting opponents this month.
