Top 250 & Top 20 October: Results are in!

With October behind us, it is now time to take a look at the results for both our international Top 250 and our local Top 20.

In October, we announced that we will have our new Top 20, as well as our well-known Top 250, where PokerStrategists who earn the most StrategyPoints by the end of the month will get a share of the prizes.

This new promotion runs for three months, until December, and culminates in a final tournament with an expected prize pool of at least $30,000.

Here, the payout structure will see the top 20 players of the English community grab a share of the total prize pool of $2,000. The first place finisher will be awarded with $500.

The goal for both of these races is simple: the more you play, the more StrategyPoints you get. The more StrategyPoints you have at the end of the month, the higher your prize will be.

Due to some issues that were not under our control, the results have unfortunately been delayed and some of the StrategyPoints are still missing. There are just a few points missing for very few players on two different days and it only happened for Full Tilt Poker.

We will receive the missing data shortly, but we decided to publish the results as fast as possible. We apologize for the delay and if this issue will occur again, we will inform you beforehand.

Important: In case a player receives less money due to these missing points, he or she will receive the remaining amount as well. Also, if a player happens to receive more money due to his higher rank before the missing points are added, he will keep the extra money - there will be no deductions.

Top 20: smidlo takes the trophy

After a very impressive run this month, our Slovak member smidlo managed to place himself at the top of our rankings, finishing the race with a total of 56,956 StrategyPoints. Congratulations, smidlo! But that's not all: in the international rankings he also did very well, placing 16th at the end of the month. For this, he will get an even higher prize, $1,000!

TwiceT was the one to finish in second place, as he accumulated a total of 29,885 StrategyPoints in October. Overall, he was ranked 67th, but thanks to his second place in our community, he will be getting $300.

kaplanovic82 was just behind TwiceT this month with 29,792 StrategyPoints, and not just in our rankings, but also in the Top 250 race. Here, he finished in third place, while also being ranked 68th internationally. He will be rewarded with $200 for this.

Top 250: Ganstarapper takes down sgosgo for $10,000

In our international leaderboard, we saw that French PokerStrategist sgosgo was in the lead last time. If he would have won, he would have been the first French member to do so. However, German PokerStrategist Ganstarapper did not let this happen and took him down from the first place, claiming the $10,000 prize.

As for sgosgo, he had 128,595 StrategyPoints at the end and had to settle for second place. Nevertheless he will be awarded $6,000 for his efforts.

In third place we have diesereine with 106,811 StrategyPoints. For his achievement, he will get a prize of $4,000.
