Top250 July: PokerMasta Wins $10,000

PokerMasta has been determined as the winner of the $100,000 July promotion. He had a wire to wire win and earned $10,000 bonus for this feat.

The Fixed-Limit Mid-Stakes player PokerMasta is the sixth player to be able to decide the Top250 promotion for himself in the year 2008. DuneBuggy is still the only two-time winner - in July, he played no part in the promotion though.

PokerMasta's lead on his pursuers was at least 10,000 StrategyPoints throughout the whole month of July and thus he was not really impressed by the final spurt of the BlackMember mStar991 either. The eternal bridesmaid - mStar991 already finished on the second rank three times in 2008 - was his most dangerous competitor until the middle of the month. But in the end he finished on his preferred position again which also earns him $6,000:


On the $4,000 ranks are two other known BlackMembers who show up in the Top Ranking over and over again: TheJoker and flanntheman.

Dodadodadodada and cyfleisc kept their $3,000 positions in the last weeks, DieHandGottes and PeterBee pushed the pursuers Yuri and leechy on ranks 9 and 10 at the last minute.

Overall, the BlackMembers are represented by twelve club members in the Top100 - or rather eleven and kobeyard85, who is hiding behind the coach icon.

The highest player of a non-German-speaking community is Panadol1, a Polish coach.
Already $640,000 Promotion bonuses in 2008
From January to July, we'll then have already given away over a half million dollars of bonus to our top players. To be precise: It will be $640,000!

Top250 Payout

Those of you who have managed to get a bonus will probably already have seen the "Top250 Payout" box on the Home page. But what is it for?
