Top250 Promotion Undergoes Changes
From February onwards, the Top250 promotion is going to be changed. From now on, the StrategyPoints you earn on PartyPoker, iPoker Network, 888poker, Everest Poker, Cake Poker, Unibet, Ladbrokes Poker, PKR, 24hPoker and Poker Heaven will count towards the Top250 standings.
What will change?
- StrategyPoints earned at Full Tilt Poker, Ongame and PokerStars do not count for the Top250 anymore
- Top250 prize pool decreased from $100,000 to $80,000
What is going to improve?
- Monthly Full Tilt Poker rake race (Update, July 2011: The race is currently suspended due to Full Tilt Poker's unavailability)
- Monthly $50,000 Ongame Network rake race extended until April at least - read more
- If you play at one of the rooms allowed in the Top250, it is now easier to get to the same payout rank as before
Note: All these changes are going to take place from February onwards.

To add the main thing:1. For players who compete for the Top250 at PokerStars, this is indeed a disadvantage.
2. For all other players, it's actually an improvement - e.g. if you play on PartyPoker, getting $100, $200, $500, $1k or $2k will be significantly easier.
3. Exception: if you do >$100k SP / Month, this is also not an improvement.

Why are you so fking greedy pokerstrategy? everyone knows that pokerstars is the biggest site, were biggest grinders play, and you cut them off completely? what kind of affiliate are you?WTF is wrong with you?
Why????????? you shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you. I would not be surprised if most big grinders of top50 sign out of the agreement though the pokerstars software.

Problem is Pokerstars rarely gives % of rake to the affiliate, rather gives $ per account per singup.#5

I also feel kinda strange, tho I'm new here..I think you should allow the most safe & fun sites, to go on the top 250 .. but that's just my opinion ^_^

i hope you are gonna change this for pokerstars , cause full tilt is no more, and all the traffic is at stars you wanna get your act together, pokerstrategy, you have give somethink to us playing there or we"l just cancel our affiliate program here, getting points for videos is not good enough. just point less imo
