Two $15,000 tournaments at 888poker

888poker has released a new software version of its client. To celebrate this, the poker room is hosting two tournaments totalling a prize pool of $30,000 and many attractive prizes going in qualification tournaments.

888poker has upgraded its software and offers many new features in terms of design, functionality and additional options, such as its own social network. Read more about the changes here.

There is a new 888poker reward shop, new avatars and modified tournament options which make it easier for you to find the tournaments of your choice. 

To celebrate the new software, 888poker is hosting a series of tournaments between July 27 and August 11. Participate to win a variety of prizes, such as iPads, Kindles or Sony Home Cinemas.

On top of that, you can win tickets for the two $15,000 tournaments in August.

Qualifier tournaments

To qualify for the two $15,000 tournaments, you have to finish among the top 88 players either in the "A New Era – Crazy Giveaway Tournament" qualifier or in the "Your M888s Tournament". The top 88 players from each of these receive a ticket to the final tournaments on August 7 and 14.

Here is an overview of both qualifier tournaments:

• Qualifier tournament name: A New Era – Crazy Giveaway Tournament
• First round dates: August 1, 2, 3 and 4, each running at 19:00 GMT (the top 88 players get a ticket to the $15K GNTD on August 7)
• Second round dates: August 8, 9, 10 and 11, each running at 19:00 GMT (the top 88 players get a ticket to the $15K GNTD on August 14)
• Buy-in: $0.08

The second qualifier is reserved for players who register with the new 888 community during the promotion period.

• Qualifier tournament name: Play Your M888s Tournament (Restricted)
• First round date: August 5 at 19:00 GMT (the top 88 get a ticket to the $15K GNTD on August 7)
• Second round date: August 12 at 19:00 GMT (the top 88 get a ticket to the $15K GNTD on August 14)
