Up to 40% Rakeback On PartyPoker
On Tuesday, PartyPoker rolled out the latest update to their software - amongst the changes: an improvement of the VIP levels and rewards, which now allow for up to 40% in rakeback.
It doesn't matter whether you are a casual or a high volume player, the latest changes to the PartyPoker VIP system include improvements for everyone.
Just like they mentioned in their latest newsletter, the new software update allows for rakeback of up to 40% in a new VIP system. A short summary:
- New reward levels for Palladium - changed from 30,000 to 10,000 and 20,000 PartyPoints
- Point requirements lowered for the following reward levels:
- $1,500 cash and $3,000 bonus for 20,000 PP
- $15,000 cash and $20,000 bonus for 100,000 PP - Point requirements per quarter are now 9,000 for Palladium and 50,000 for Palladium Elite
- New point requirements to unlock the bonuses:
$100 - 375 PartyPoints
$350 - 1,000 PartyPoints
$1,200 - 2,500 PartyPoints
$3,000 - 5,000 PartyPoints
$20,000 - 25,000 PartyPoints - Note: nothing has changed about how PartyPoints are earned!
1. Earn PartyPoints:
You automatically earn PartyPoints by playing poker on their platform. Depending on the limit or buy-in, you need to play a certain amount of hands/tournaments in order to earn 10 PartyPoints.
On average, you will earn about 2 PartyPoints per $1 of rake - for tournaments and SnGs, it's exactly 2 PartyPoints per $1 of fee. You can find an exact listing here: How to earn PartyPoints
2. Moving up in level:
The more PartyPoints you earn per month or quarter, the higher you climb in your level. Bronze, Silver and Gold are levels awarded on a monthly basis, while Palladium and Palladium Elite take into account the complete quarter:
3. Spending your PartyPoints - up to 40% rakeback:
a) PartyPoints Store: First of all, you can spend your PartyPoints in the PartyPoker store, where you can buy all kinds of products - from tournament tickets over luxury watches to a BMW M3.
b) Buying cash or bonuses: The second possibility is to exchange your points for money or bonuses. While the bonuses have to be unlocked by earning a certain amount of PartyPoints before they are credited to your account, they have the advantage of getting you more value for your PartyPoints. For Palladium Elite players, a rakeback of up to 40% is now possible.
PartyPoints earned in order to unlock a bonus won't be deducted, so they can be used or exchanged later. The bonuses will all be unlocked in 5 slices and you have a total of 180 days in order to completely unlock them.
9-handed: In the coming weeks, PartyPoker will change the No Limit full-ring tables from 10-handed to 9-handed.
Initially, the change will be tested on the lower limits, but over the next 1 to 2 weeks, they intend to switch all NL FR tables to 9-handed play.
Tournaments where the top prizes are all equal (Double or Nothing SnGs, for instance), now end right after the remaining prizes can be handed out.
Cards: The files for card graphics have been changed (all cards can be found in the same file now), meaning that own/modified cards don't work for the time being.
