This week PokerStars introduced a new member to their Pro Team. The attractive Briton Victoria Coren will further strengthen the team.
But not only visually does Coren have plenty to offer. Her poker game is also excellent. Especially in England she is very active and had several successes. Her biggest one was the first place in the EPT event in London in September 2006, netting £500.000, which was back then almost a million dollars. Furthermore, she was the first woman to ever wrap up an EPT event.
Besides that she could mainly be found at PartyPoker events. If she will still take part in those though remains to be seen. Katja Thater, also part of Team PokerStars, was not allowed to join the latest PartyPoker Nations Cup. The reason behind this decision was that she would not have been able to display her sponsor's advertisements.
In the near future, Coren will be found on PokerStars under the nickname "Vicky Coren".
Apart from the poker business the Briton is also very prolific. Among other things she is writing a column for The Guardian and moderates her own show on BBC Radio 4.
Not that long ago, PokerStars already enhanced its team with the two pros Chad Brown and Gavin Griffin.
