WPT: Legends Of Poker 2008

On Wednesday, the 'Legends of Poker 2008' will begin in the Bicycle Casino, Los Angeles. About 30 events will be played. The buy-ins are between $300 for the smaller events and $10,000 for the WPT Main Event. The latter one will only begin on August 23rd though.
After the WSOP in the Rio and the Bellagio Cup, the next mega event comes up in the Bicycle Casino. For a month, different tournaments will be offered. The kick-off is a $300 No-Limit Hold'em event on next Wednesday. The conclusion will be the $10,000 WPT event which will take place from August 23rd to 28th.
Last year, Dan Harrington won the Main Event, leaving behing him 484 further participants. In the heads-up he defeated David 'The Dragon' Pham and earned $1,635,365 for his first place.
