888 Software Update July 09

You have submitted your feedback for the 888.com Pacific Poker Software and the Poker room answers. Read on to learn which changes will be implemented during the update and how you can download the update.

Since the beginning of the starting capital campaign on 888.com Pacific Poker (see the lower part of this news), we have enjoyed a lot of feedback from you about the Pacific Poker Software. The software department of this Poker room would like to thank you all for your suggestions.

Additionally, a small software update for 888.com Pacific Poker was released. Some suggestions made in the feedback are already implemented, and many more changes and improvements are to come.


Changes in June and Software Download

The following changes can be found in the most recent software update:

  • Slider improvements: raises are now done in BB and no longer cent when you move the slider. Odd sums can still be typed in.
  • The buttons Fold, Check, Bet were changed
  • New multi-table Pop-Up Logic: tables pop up after one another only if a decision has been taken place at the active table
  • No table animations (chips/cards) any more for 6 or more tables - this setting is also possible for a lower number of tables

Active players will get the newest software via auto-download in about a week. You can find out whether you are using the newest version 5.6-21 by pressing F4. You can download the new version now by following the link below:

Notes about your Feedback

  • Passwords should be over 8 characters/special characters allowed: will be changed in 2-3 months
  • Auto Re-buy: Re-buy settings will be changed in 3-4 months
  • System utilization is too high: will be significantly improved with the client in 2-3 months
  • General large-scale redesign (step-by-step) until the end of this year
  • Tile Table for 4 tables only: a part of this years large-scale redesign
  • No "Auto Post Blind" mode: it already exists and (still) goes by the name "Post Blinds"
  • Pop-Ups cannot be deactivated: will be possible soon
  • "Play in Casino" buttons cannot be deactivated: will be possible in 2-3 months
