The first three starting days of the PokerStars Asian Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Macau are over. HoRRoR is still the chip leader.

538 players came together in the three days for the PokerStars tournament in Macau. The prize pool rose to $1,620,897, of which the winner will receive $453,851. 56 places will be paid out.

Many known FacesBertrand Grospellier as Joker

Amongst the starters were some known poker pros. At the tables were seen amongst others: Chad Brown, Johnny Chan, Men Nguyen, Joe Hachem, JC Tran, Shaun Deeb, Isabelle Mercier, JJ Liu and Vanessa Rousso.

However, PokerStars pro Bertrand Grospellier called most of the attention to himself. Grospellier appeared in the Joker costume from the latest Batman movie and thus caused quite some hustle and bustle amongst the other guests.

43 Nations represented

From the 538 starters, 106 players found their way to Macau from the United States. The Australians were also well represented with 97 participants.

Furthermore, 35 participants from Canada, 32 from Hong Kong, 25 from the UK and only 22 players from China took part in the event. From Germany, 18 players had signed up.

Germans well positioned

Amongst the Germans is also our coach André 'HoRRoR' Wagner, who already conquered the chip lead on Day 1A and was able to retain it until the start of Day 2. Besides HoRRoR, 207 further players made it into Day 2, including Marko 'infinity1000' Neumann, Matthias 'kingmatthi' Körber, Alexander Jung, Thomas Bihl, Thomas Kazemieh and Doron Tourgman.
