APPT: Roller Coaster Ride For HoRRoR

The second day of the PokerStars Asian Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) reduced the field to only 39 players. Coach HoRRoR underwent a real roller coaster ride.

39 Players survive Day 2

208 players returned to the tables in the Grand Waldo Hotel & Casino. Only 39 of them survived the day. The money ranks started with place 59. Bubble Boy was Chris Grigorian. Ultra-short, he was all-in in the big blind. Four players called, and thus he was eliminated.

Prominent Victims before the Money Ranks

Johnny ChanEPT Dortmund winner Mike McDonald, Grand Champion Johnny Chan, Joe Hachem, Men Nguyen, Isabelle Mercier and Bertrand Grospellier even had to join the rails before reaching the paid places.

Not a good Day for German Players

Dropped out before the money ranks did also the Germans Marko 'infinity1000' Neumann, Matthias 'kingmatthi' Körber, Alexander Jung and Thomas Bihl. Doron Tourgman finished on rank 53 and was at least barely in the money.

Roller Coaster Ride for HoRRoR

Coach HoRRoRCoach André 'HoRRoR' Wagner went into Day 2 as chip leader and was able to extend his lead quickly. With quad aces, he sent his opponent to the rails and then held about 150,000 chips. HoRRoR out on Rank 28 - *Update for Day 3

Day 3 is still in full swing, but we don't want to hold back the most important news. Unfortunately, HoRRoR was eliminated on rank 28 for $8,104. In his new blog entry, he commented the happenings as follows: "As good as the other days went, as bad today went. It really couldn't have been worse."
