Eastgate signs with Betfair
2008 WSOP Main Event champion Peter Eastgate has had an interesting few years since he exploded into the poker stratosphere following his championship win.The Dane controversially decided to hang up his poker playing boots in July 2010, having announced that since establishing financial security he had lost motivation for "playing high-level poker".
His hiatus lasted until February 2011 and he is most definitely back in the big time this week following news that he has become an official ambassador for Betfair Poker.
Eastgate joins John Tabatabai, Hans Martin Vogl and Stefan Raffay on the Betfair Poker sponsored pro roster.
