Interview with Groupe Bernard Tapie lawyer

Yesterday PokerNews interviewed Behnam Dayanim, one of the US lawyers representing Groupe Bernard Tapie and their planned takeover of Full Tilt Poker.

The main news is... that there is no news. There have been no further developments in the transfer of assets between GBT and FTP.

Behnam did confirm that GBT would be reapplying for an AGCC license, and also possibly one from the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC) - both former FTP licensors.

Spanish online gambling market delayed by six months

Spanish gamblers will have to wait a further six months for a regulated online gambling market, to allow the regulator more time to review license applications.

As a result, .com operators have been extended their amnesty period to offer their products until June 30 this year.

There have been over 300 license applications by 62 operators, half of them Spanish, according to EGR magazine.

High stakes corner

It doesn't get much more High Stakes than the big games in Macau, and today an interview with one of the biggest players of 2011, Sam Trickett, was published by Bluff Europe, where he discusses the nosebleed action there. 

In it he talks about the biggest bluff of his poker career, where he shoved all-in on the river for a jaw dropping $8m HKD. Do not read it if you are scared of heights folks.
