When internet warriors collide
Today we hear about one of the most unlikely boxing matchups in recent history: Cates V Feldman. And no, we're not talking about Gremlins stars Phoebe Cates and Corey Feldman going toe-to-toe in the ring (although this would likely be a more interesting contest).
PokerStrategy.com instructor and high stakes supremo Daniel
junglemandan Cates has challenged fellow high stakes pro Andrew Feldman to a fight via Twitter, presumably inspired by classic poker punch-ups such as Veldhuis v ElkY and Hansen v Jorgenson.Cates Tweets: "@Andrewfeldman1 so you still want to do the fight? Let's schedule for this WSOP perhaps? #Ringmatch."
It seems his offer may have been accepted, after the pint-sized Feldman Tweeted back, "Sure lets do it! #hu4rolz".

Doyle backs Howard
Septaganerian poker hero Doyle Brunson released a blog yesterday which is sure to ruffle a few feathers in the poker community.Brunson addresses the downfall of Full Tilt Poker, and intimates that the likes of Chris Ferguson and Howard Lederer may not be the villains that much of the community has made them out to be.
"The bottom line was they were poker players, not corporate executives" claims Brunson, also sharing that Lederer had personally vouched that "he didn't know about the financial problems" which contributed to FTP's dramatic collapse.
Seidel primed for Premier League
Tony G today reveals on his blog that another poker superstar will be lining up for the upcoming PartyPoker Premier League V at Montesino.Tournament monster Erik Seidel will be joining the likes of Patrik Antonius, Sam Trickett, Vanessa Selbst and Luke Schwartz this April in Vienna to compete in one of the most anticipated poker events this year.

With news that Erik Seidel is joining this year's Premier League, we thought it was fitting to look back at an infamous hand played 24 years ago against a certain Mr Johnny Chan.Who would have thought that Seidel and Chan would still be giants of the game nearly a quarter of a century later...

maybe they weren't executives and didnt know about financial problems (although i dont buy it) but they still took truckloads of cash from FTP, so IMO they are to blame nonetheless.Gotta be smarter than that Doyle...
