Daniel Negreanu and Doyle Brunson Using Poker Patches?
Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu took part in a rather unusual experience, when he tested so-called 'poker patches'.
In a video posted on YouTube, Canadian Team PokerStars member Daniel Negreanu tested a set of special stickers that were claimed to give him increased endurance and performance at the poker tables.
According to the company site, their product consists of "holographic strips designed to give you the relief you are looking for" and several notable poker players have tested them, including the likes of Negreanu and Doyle Brunson.
In a testimonial for the site, Negreanu says: "As you all know I play a lot of poker and travel a lot. My body and mind gets very tired. I use the Performance Poker Strips to enhance my performance and stay focused." Doyle Brunson added: "What I have experienced is that these Strips keep me focused and from getting tired which equals money."
Currently, the product comes in a set of 18 pieces for a price of $44.95. What do you think about this product? Is it the next way to push your poker endurance to the next level or is it just a marketing stunt? Voice your opinion on this subject in our forum:
UPDATE: Daniel Negreanu announced via Twitter that he never agreed to participate in this advertisement project and says his name was used without him agreeing on it.
