EPT Budapest: Maddyhh Out In The Money Ranks
Published on 30 Oct 08 20:38 by
Update 2: Day 2 of the PokerStars Europea Poker Tour has finished, but PokerStrategist Maddyhh was unfortunately eliminated on rank 51.
The 56 paid places have been reached and so every remaining player will have secured at least €5,320. Someone who definitely wants more is Mario '
Maddyhh'
Puccini. After a rather slow first day, Maddyhh really turned up the heat today. Barely 2 hours after the start of the day, he already had over 80,000 chips in front of him, and currently he's at about 135,000 chips.
Unlucky bubble boy was Thomas Vestergaard.
Even worse: With AK he got eliminated by AK suited. Luckier at the bubble was Janek Schleicher, who won an all-in with pocket queens against AK, and currently holds 80,000 chips.
Ivo Donev took the chip leader from Day 1A, Annette Obrestad, from the table and still has all his options with 200,000 chips. Alexander Kravchenko is the last remaining Team PokerStars Pro, however as a short stack he doesn't have many options.
Sorel Mizzi was also recently eliminated on rank 54 after he ran into the pocket tens of Russian Dennis Volkov when he moved all-in pre-flop with his pocket fours.
Update: Unfortunately, we were just informed that Maddyhh has been eliminated on rank 51, ending up with €5,320 after all. Still a very good result, and congratulations for this success!
Update 2: Day 2 has now officially finished, and it seems as if 43 players have survived it. Albert Iversen and Lukas Benkovic are the current chip leaders with each of them holding a stack of over 300,000 chips.
Day 3 will kick off tomorrow at 1:00 PM, and we will make sure to keep you informed.
