EPT Deauville Day 5: Final Table Reached

After 5 days of play at the PokerStars EPT Deauville, the final table has been reached. Paul Guichard leads the remaining eight players, and Team PokerStars Pro Luca Pagano has successfully reached his 7th career EPT final table.

889 players entered the PokerStars EPT Deauville earlier this week, but now just 8 of them have the opportunity to win the €875,000 first-place prize. Each of those remaining players will enter the final table with the goal of taking home an EPT title, but even the unfortunate 8th place finisher will go home with an impressive €67,200.

Who's at the final table?

Paul Guichard (5,955,000 Chips) - A French player with minimal live experience, Guichard enters the final table with the chip lead. He is known as one of the top players on PokerStars.fr.

Vadzim Kursevich (5,670,000 Chips) - Kursevich is a player from Belarus who is best-known for his 3rd-place finish in last year's EPT Berlin for €300,000.

Bruno Jais (3,450,000 Chips) - A French player with about $200,000 in live tournament earnings over many years of play. His best finish was 4th place in a $5K PLO event at the 2004 WSOP for $120,000.

Luca Pagano (2,010,000 Chips) - An Italian member of Team PokerStars Pro, Pagano is one of the most successful players in EPT history despite not having won a title yet. This event marks his 20th cash and 7th EPT final table, and he's certainly hoping that the 7th time is the charm.

Yorane Kerignard (1,680,000 Chips) - A French pro nearing $500,000 in career tournament earnings, Kerignard is hoping to improve on his 2 other EPT final table performances where he finished 4th and 6th.

Mick Graydon (960,000 Chips) - Graydon is an Irish player who will enter the final table the shortest stack. He has plenty of live experience and dozens of live tournament cashes, but even if he busts in 8th place this tournament is already his largest single cash.

Olivier Rogez, Vuong Than Trong - Rogez sits in 3rd place with 4,415,000, and Trong is in 5th with 2,570,000. These two players are wildcards, as it would appear that they have no live tournament cashes on record.

The final table will begin at 12:00 CET on Monday, and the action will be streaming live.
