ESPN Inside Deal with Barry Greenstein
Barry Greenstein was the guest of the third ESPN "Inside Deal" episode. The high stakes cash games veteran proved to have an endless amount of stories to tell.
The latest episode of the ESPN poker show "Inside Deal" featured a Team PokerStars Pro Barry Greenstein (pictured right). The show began in its usual manner, a witty intro followed up by a quick review of news from the poker world.
One of the more interesting topics was the "2 Months, $2 Million" show. With the two of four show's stars Dani Stern and Jay Rosenkrantz on the line, they discussed the show and even revealed some details on the upcoming episodes.
An endless source of stories to tell
Inside Deal then continued with a barrage of questions shot at Greenstein who readily answered all of them. From explaining his nicknames "Bear" and "The Robin Hood of Poker" to comparing tournaments and cash games, Greenstein proved to always have some story ready to tell.Perhaps the most interesting story was about Bobby Baldwin, as Greenstein explained how it was Baldwin who kept the high stakes cash games alive in Las Vegas. Greenstein also took a look back at his performance in the High Stakes Season 5 where he faced Tom "durrrr" Dwan and ended up losing a pot worth $919,600 against the young gun.
Greenstein answered many more questions throughout the show, both related to poker, but also his private life, such as the reasons behind Avril Lavigne, NSYNC and Hillary Duff being on his iPod playlist. The next ESPN "Inside Deal" episode is coming up next week on Tuesday.
