Eastgate and Poker Royalty Have a Deal
The World Series Of Poker 2008 champion, Peter Eastgate, just signed with the major poker pro agency Poker Royalty. The agency will deal with all the marketing issues such as media appearances, licensing, sponsorship and more.
Not long after winning the 2008 World Series Of Poker bracelet, over $9 million and becoming the youngest poker player to ever win the WSOP Main Event, Peter Eastgate announced that he signed a contract with Poker Royalty, the major pro player agency that handles the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth and many more.
It was previously reported here that Poker Royalty opened an office in London under the lead of Jim Erwood, the Director of European Operations. The reason behind this move was to better manage its European client base, which manifested a significant growth lately.
This move was apparently useful for many, including a well-known poker face, the 22-year old Danish player Peter Eastgate, as he just signed with Poker Royalty so he can be better represented from now on internationally. Regarding this agreement, Erwood said:

"Peter is the epitome of the young, intelligent
and fearless online poker professional whose game has translated
fantastically to the world of live tournament poker. It is a very unique opportunity for us, because
he's a very marketable twenty-two year international player with
$9,000,000 in the bank. Peter can afford to be very selective with the
endorsement relationships he chooses and align himself with
opportunities that suit him perfectly."
Eastgate, who recently moved to London, said "I believe the team at Poker Royalty is best suited to help me navigate
through the duties and opportunities that arise as the reigning World
Series of Poker Champion. They represent the biggest names in poker and
I’m honored to have them working on my behalf."
