Felix Osterland Wins In Bregenz

PokerStrategist Felix Osterland won the €1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout Event of the Lake Constance Championship 2008 in the Casino Bregenz. With four players left, a deal was made.

96 players took each other on around 2PM. The prize pool summed up to €91,200. At the final table, Felix 'Lawdoc' Osterland faced the Austrian Ivo Donev amongst others, who had won the €800 Freezeout of the Lake Constance Poker Championship 2007 as well as the €1,000 event of the Poker Spring Challenge 2007 amongst others. This time, it was only enough for rank 10 though and thus €1,460.

Three Germans were amongst the last four players including Felix Osterland: Full Tilt Pro Marco Liesy, and Andreas Novakovic. The fourth player was the Austrian Dominik Pfeiffer, who was already able to cash at the CAPT Bregenz as well as at the CAPT Salzburg.

Only today the four agreed to a deal, from which Felix emerged victoriously. The foursome played until 4 o' clock in the morning until the officials had an understanding and suspended the final table until at midday today, where the deal was quickly taking shape.

Shortly afterwards, Felix joined the €1,500 No-Limit Hold'em tournament.
