Florida Resident Suing Six Poker Players

A Florida resident, Scott Crespo, is suing six online poker players from Illinois to recover "illegal poker gambling losses". Crespo is seeking triple the amount lost to those players as well as the court costs and "any other relief that the Court deems just".

lawScott Crespo, a resident of Florida, has recently filed a lawsuit against six online poker players from Illinois, which includes nearly 190 pages of tournament results from 2006 to the present.

Crespo's lawsuit is targeted at Andy "BKiCe" Seth, Benjamin "Chong94" LeFew, Mohsin "chicagocards1" Charania, Faraz "The-Toilet" Jaka, Ravi "govshark2" Raghavan and Tyler "puffinmypurp" Reiman.

In the lawsuit, Crespo is seeking to recover "illegal poker gambling losses", as he alleges the group of six has "actively recruited other individuals to participate in illegal gambling activity" and "committed acts of collusion and cheating while playing online poker". His close examination outlines almost 700 tournament cashes by the above mentioned group of players on various poker rooms.

So far, Crespo has no evidence that they cheated or did something illegal but it rather seems like he is on major tilt and wants to get three times the money back the money he lost to those players.

PPA takes interest in the case

The lawsuit also brings up the cheating scandals on several known poker rooms, as well as listing multiple programs that were allegedly used for collusion, such as Calculatem Pro, Poker Crusher, Poker Bot Pro, Pocket aces and No Rules Poker. However, it isn't outlined whether any of the defendants used such software or not.

The Poker Player Alliance (PPA) has taken interest in this case, as the PPA Kentucky State Director Rich Muny confirmed that he has already spoken with some of the defendants and that the issue has been discussed at the highest levels within the PPA.
