High Stakes Poker: Elezra Busts a Three-Barrel Bluff

Three bullets were not enough to take down Eli Elezra's top pair of kings in a pot worth over $200k. Meanwhile, Jason Mercier made a steady first appearance to the show, eager to dent the stacks of some of the world's best cash game players.

Season 6 of GSN's High Stakes Poker continued this Sunday into its third episode seeing Jason Mercier join the table.

Mercier's first hand, and first raise with pocket deuces, was immediately greeted by Tom "durrrr" Dwan who re-raised him with A-3o.

Mercier avoided conflict in that hand and glided through most of the episode, cautiously avoiding some huge hands.

Elezra calls Hansen's bluff

Eli Elezra (pictured right) is not the type of player who gets scared easily and he showcased this virtue in this episode.

After being relatively tight and quite successful thus far, Gus Hansen decided to pull off a big bluff against Elezra. Two barrels were not enough to shake the Israeli off and the third barrel, as Hansen commented afterwards, was ill-timed.
