High Stakes Poker: Elezra Busts a Three-Barrel Bluff
Three bullets were not enough to take down Eli Elezra's top pair of kings in a pot worth over $200k. Meanwhile, Jason Mercier made a steady first appearance to the show, eager to dent the stacks of some of the world's best cash game players.

Mercier's first hand, and first raise with pocket deuces, was immediately greeted by Tom "durrrr" Dwan who re-raised him with A-3o.
Mercier avoided conflict in that hand and glided through most of the episode, cautiously avoiding some huge hands.
Elezra calls Hansen's bluff
Eli Elezra (pictured right) is not the type of player who gets scared easily and he showcased this virtue in this episode. After being relatively tight and quite successful thus far, Gus Hansen decided to pull off a big bluff against Elezra. Two barrels were not enough to shake the Israeli off and the third barrel, as Hansen commented afterwards, was ill-timed.

#2: I agree and many people see this new format as being worse than before and I personally agree: Why fix it if it ain't broke? As far as I know, there is already a petition to get AJ Benza back in the booth with Kaplan.

to me it seems like you put a teenager into one of those trains that take you around the amusement park and she is trying to turn it into a rollercoaster whereas the ride is not about the ride itself but the sightseeing.anyway, a lame copy of PAD, if they wanted a chick in there they could've had all 3 of them, but they obviously cant afford getting good players and 3 hosts for the show.
hope benza gets back asap because this is quite awful no matter how much gabe tries to save the whole thing on his own :(
