High Stakes Season 6 Premiere on Sunday

After months of waiting, the High Stakes Poker Season 6 is finally here. The premiere episode will be aired on Sunday, February 14th. Before the new season kicks off, there will be an eight-hour long marathon program featuring highlights from the previous seasons.

The sixth season of GSN's High Stakes Poker is about to begin, with the premiere episode being aired on Sunday, February 14th.

Moving on from Season 5, this season's hosts will be Gabe Kaplan alongside Kara Scott (pictured right). Kara will be doing interviews with the players about poker strategy and table dynamics.

These interviews will also be aimed at giving the viewers an inside look into the key hands from each episode, from the perspective of the poker players.

Minimum buy-in raised to $200k

The line-up for the show will once again feature top pros such as Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius, Eli Elezra, Tom "durrrr" Dwan, Lex Veldhuis and others.

The players will now have to make a minimum buy-in of $200,000, and before we get to see the first action between them, GSN will air an eight-hour long "I LOVE POKER" marathon.

Starting at 17:00 GMT and running until 01:00 GMT, the I LOVE POKER marathon will feature the eight most exciting episodes from previous HSP seasons. Once the TV marathon is over, the premiere episode will begin, where we will see the first players from the list below taking their seats:
