Khan Wins Caesars Million

More than 300 players gathered to take the $1 million top prize but poker pro Hevad Khan was the one to take the win this weekend.

Starting on October 16, the Caesars Palace Classic reached its main event stage this weekend, with Hevad "RaiNKhaN" Khan taking home the 1st place prize of $1 million.

Khan managed to get past 300 players and reach the final table, where a million dollars awaited the winner. There is where he took down big names such as Daniel "Rekrul" Schreiber, Adam Junglen and John Hennigan, before going heads-up with Michael Kamran and claiming the first prize.

The final hand had the players seeing a rainbow flop of J92. Kamran checked and Khan bet 900,000, only to see Kamran going all-in over the top. Khan called and he revealed J6 for top pair, while Kamran showed K10 for a gutshot. The turn brought a 7, giving more outs to Kamran, but when the river brought a 10, Khan got the win and the million.

Hevad Khan, better known as RaiNKhaN online, first became famous because of a YouTube video in which he was playing 26 SnGs on a single monitor at home. He became more popular in late 2007, when he managed to place 6th at the World Series of Poker.

This is Khan's second live tournament win, as he also won a preliminary event at this year's Foxwoods Poker Classic, cashing in $108,000. With his latest win, Khan now has over $2.2 million in winnings.
