What happened on Day 4?
Luca Pagano takes charge - Italian Team PokerStars Pro Luca Pagano is the best-known player of the remaining 24, and he also has the most chips. He'll bring 3,561,000 chips with him to Day 5, and he'll hope to make his seventh EPT final table. In his 6 previous final tables he has earned quite a bit of cash, but he still hasn't secured a title and will be very hungry to take this one.Very short day - This tournament was scheduled with an extra day of play relative to the typical EPT structure. For that reason, players had an exceptionally short day of play and will get to return on Day 5 well rested.
Three noteworthy bustouts - PokerStrategy.com Italian coach Sergio "
geniodelletartarughe" Castelluccio unfortunately saw his tournament life come to an end on Day 4, and he finished in 33rd place for €17,000. Day 3's massive chipleader Sam Phomveha handed nearly all of his chip mountain to Luca Pagano in the first level of play, and he busted in 42nd place. Day 2 chipleader, Martins Adeniya, also lost his big stack and busted in 43rd place. We'll certainly see more of him in the future.Day 5 will begin at 12:00 CET on Sunday, and play will continue until a final table is reached.
