Nikolay Evdakov New 'Full Tilt Pro'

Ten times the Russian Nikolay Evdakov was able to cash at this year's WSOP and thus established a new record. Now he was included into the team of the 'Full Tilt Pros'.

Ten ITM finishes in only one WSOP. Prior to the Russian, nobody ever managed this feat. The old record was at eight cashes and was held by four players - Michael Binger, Chad Brown, Phil Hellmuth and Humberto Brenes. For his overall performance, Evdkakov was recently included into the team of the 'Full Tilt Pros' by Full Tilt Poker (FTP).

For many this decision was quite surprising as Evdakov didn't reach a single final table despite his ten cashes. His best result was rank 12 in the $10,000 PL Hold'em Championship. Already during the WSOP, the record was thus hardly mentioned. The inclusion into the team of the 'Full Tilt Pros' was picked to pieces quite harshly by some.

If you check the members of the 'Full Tilt Pros' a bit closer, it becomes clear that FTP integrates new faces into its second guard rather quickly before they might be discovered by the competition. FTP attaches great importance to an as international team as possible. Thus the 'Full Tilt Pros' already have almost 90 members now.

Amongst them are known players like David Benyamine, Andy Black, David Chiu, Eli Elezra, Robert Mizrachi, David Oppenheim, Max Pescatori, David Pham, David Singer, Gavin Smith and Kenny Tran. But also rather unknown players like David Bradley or Alan Boston are in the team.

'Full Tilt Pros' of the German-speaking area are Thomas Bihl, Sascha Biorac, Markus Golser, Niki Jedlicka, Martin Kläser, Erich Kollmann, Markus Lehmann, Marco Liesy, Rino Mathis, Stefan Rapp, Eddy Scharf, Roland Specht, Sigi Stockinger and Jens Vörtmann.

Other known European players are Dario Alioto, Roland De Wolfe, Julian Gardner, Rob Hollink, Dag Mikkelsen, Ben Roberts, Erica Schoenberg, Marco Traniello and Thomas Wahlroos.
