Partouce Poker Tour: Nazgul and BongBob and Ivey Survive

Day 1B of the Partouche Poker Tour resumed in Cannes with Team PokerStrategy.com members BongBob and Nazgul both moving on to Day 2. Phil Ivey joins them in Day 2, but durrrr has already busted.

The chip average is currently at around 70,000 chips after 8 levels were played out on Day 1B. The levels each took 90 minutes and play went on for well over 12 hours before the day eventually concluded at 4.30am.

Unfortunately, the full chip counts from Day 1B have not yet been released by the organizers at the time of writing.

Three PokerStrategists make day 2

Five PokerStrategists were among the players who started Day 1B and three of them managed to make it into Day 2. Besides current Team PokerStrategy.members BongBob and Nazgul (pictured right), former team member PokerNoob also survived Day 1B.

The other two who played but did not make it through the day are Thorsten77 and psychobenny.

Besides the PokerStrategists, several other notables were also in attendance on Day 1B. Tom "durrrr" Dwan was the most notable casualty of the day while Phil Ivey will return on Day 2. We have not heard about the fate of others like Phil Laak, David Benyamine and Michael Mizrachi.
