Partouche Poker Tour: Nazgul and PokerNoob In the Money

After Day 3 of the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event in Cannes, just 55 players remain in the hunt. Team PokerStrategy.com member Nazgul and PokerStrategist PokerNoob, both made it into Day 4.

NazgulAnother ten hours of poker were played on Day 3 of the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event. The five levels of play which each lasted for two hours, saw the field being whittled down from 134 to just 55 players.

The money bubble was broken after the 82nd placed finisher was ejected from his seat. As of now, Team PokerStrategy.com member AdminNazgul (pictured right) and PokerNoob are already guaranteed €15,000 for being in the top 55. They just need to outlast one more player before making the next pay jump to €18,500.

Nazgul doubles up right at the end

Nazgul reported that he had tough table draws for the most part of Day 3 and spent his day watching chips being taken away from his stack. He however made a crucial double up at the end of the day with Q-Q against A-Q. He finished with 260,000 chips and down for the day.

PokerNoob did not fare too much better as well. He finished the day with 184,000 chips, pretty much the same as what he started the day with. Both of them are now below the chip average of 400,000 chips, but there is still a lot of poker left to be played.

Unfortunately, the end of Day 3 chip counts have not been released by the organizers. We do however have the full payout structure of the event, which is as follows:
