The PartyPoker Premier League season III will start on November 24th, with Juha Helppi and J.C. Tran joining in already.
The PartyPoker Premier League has recently announced two of the names that will be
competing this season: season I winner Juha Helppi and J.C. Tran will both be joining, which may turn out to be an even greater competition.
The third season of PartyPoker Premier League will take place in London, between 24th and 30th November, having a prize pool of almost $1,25 milion, when Andy Black (who was automatically invited) will try to defend his title.
Finland's Juha Helppi aims for winning the Premier League trophy again, after losing it last time to the Irish player Andy Black. In a recent press release, he said "I loaned my trophy to Mr. Black last season, but now it is time to take it back!"
Tran is already known in the international scene, and he is definitely interested in adding this trophy to his collection, but Europe is something new to him:
"I have been meaning to play in Europe for a while and this prestigious event is a great way to start."
Both players will also be adding an extra buy-in of $75,000 each, in order to participate in the PartyPoker Premier League III. The prize pool will be close to $1,25 million, making it quite attractive not only for these two players, but also for the other nine that will be announced soon.
PartyPoker Premier League has 12 of the world’s
best players playing in a special league format: all players will
play six times in the preliminary stages, after which the top four players will
advance to the final table. The next four will go
heads-up matches for the remaining two seats.
