The Italian Fabrizio Leonardi won the finale of the 19th Seven Card Stud Euro in the Casino Baden in Austria. Today, the €4,000 No-Limit Hold'em Euro kicks off.

100 players gathered on Tuesday to play for the title of European Poker Champion in Seven Card Stud. Fabrizio Leonardi left them all behind and not only secured the title, but also a prize money of €68,860.

Duc Thang Nguyen Runner-up was Valeriy Vasilin from the Ukraine, ahead of the first German EPT winner Dug Thang Nguyen.
Best Austrian was Joachim Sanjestra on rank 6.

The Fin Seppo Parkkinen had to be content with rank 4. Even though he started as chip leader at the final table, he was not able to turn it into a win.

Today the first No-Limit Hold'em Poker Euro

Today, the first ever European Championship in No-Limit Hold'em in the history of the Poker Euro begins. The buy-in is €4,000. Some of the best European players are expected at the tournament.
